“Specification for Credit Investigation of Enterprises”

Pursuant to The General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council's directive in the "Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of the Social Credit System and Facilitating the Formation of a New Development Framework"《關於推進社會信用體系建設高品質發展促進形成新發展格局的意見》 which propose strengthening market regulation and industry self-discipline in credit services to promote orderly competition and enhance industry integrity. Enterprise credit investigations are a crucial part of credit system structure. By establishing and improving standards for enterprise credit investigations, a societal environment that encourages trust and demerits dishonesty can be fostered, promoting honest business practices and healthy development. This document regulates the credit investigation activities of domestic and foreign credit service providers within Mainland China, which is beneficial both for enterprises to enhance their market reputation and for market entities to standardize their behavior and the market economy order.

Under the request of Shenzhen Credit Promotion Association深圳市信用促進會, a non-for-profit organization under direct supervision by Shenzhen Administration for Market Regulation 深圳市市場監督管理局, the Association Standard's "Specification for Credit Investigation of Enterprises" framework has been drafted in accordance with the guidance rules given in《GB/T 1.1 - 2020 Directives for Standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.標準化工作導則第1部分：標準化檔的結構和起草規則》.

The consultation paper is now open to seek the member's views and comments during the period from August 26 to September 8, 2024.
