The "GBA Credit Cooperation Seminar & Signing Ceremony of Pilot Opening of Credit Regulatory Data" was grandly held at the Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of Shenzhen on November 19, 2024. The event brought together about 30 senior government officials and credit specialists from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) to explore new path for credit cooperation.

Hong Kong Credit and Collection Management Association (HKCCMA), representing Hong Kong's credit building efforts, was invited to attend. Vice Chairman Mr. Germany Heng joined government officials and credit institution representatives from other regions in the GBA in the signing ceremony of the pilot opening of credit regulatory data. He then accepted the GBA Credit Construction Development Alliance Award on behalf of the association. Germany also introduced the Standard for Third-Party Credit Investigation on behalf of HKCCMA, one of the drafters of the Standard.

"HKCCMA is deeply honored. This is not only a recognition of HKCCMA's years of efforts in the credit development field, but also an expectation for the association's role in further bridging the GBA's credit integration process.", said Mr. Heng. With the signing ceremony and the partnerships that follow, it is believed that the GBA's credit system will become much more interconnected and boost the region's economic growth.
