Distinguished Guests, Members, Ladies and Gentlemen:
Welcome to the HKCCMA Annual General Meeting 2024/2025! In addition to introducing HKCCMA's achievements last year, we will also announce the winner of CMEA (Credit Management Excellence Award).

1) Career Talk for University Students

April 11, 2024 - Invited by The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), HKCCMA recently presented a lecture at the university with the theme "Sharpen Risk Management Skills to Improve Competitiveness".  Dozens of students attended the lecture. HKCCMA Chairman Mr. Bobby Rozario, accompanied by Mr. Calvin Ho, Chairman of HKCCMA Education Committee, delivered an informative speech on risk control. Ms Wiwi Wu, senior credit analyst at Alpha & Leader, also shared her vast experience in the risk control sector.

2) "The Power to Unlock AI in Credit Evaluation"

Sept 26 2024 – Education Committee organized a highly informative workshop titled "Leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) in credit evaluation and risk management". A total of 30 members and guests joined the session, featuring a panel of three experts in the field – Dr. Francis Liu, Simon Kong, Raymond Lam and Calvin Ho (Moderator).

3) "Enhancing Credit Risk Management and Debt Recovery Strategies"

Jan 16, 2025—The Education Committee hosted an insightful seminar, "Enhancing Credit Risk Management and Debt Recovery Strategies, " which attracted over 40 credit management professionals. Bobby Rozario presented the workshop, and Calvin Ho served as the Moderator.

 

Seminar highlights included :

The calculation of credit risks

The implication of managing DSO in cash flow management

The short, mid and long-term applications to improve credit control

The use of legal knowledge and negotiation skills in debt recovery

GBA Credit Cooperation Seminar & Signing Ceremony of Credit Regulatory Standards




Nov 19, 2024 - The event brought together about 30 senior government officials and credit specialists from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) to explore a new path for credit cooperation.   

Vice Chairman, Mr. Germany Heng joined together with the government officials and representatives from different credit institutions in the regions for the pilot opening. The event was held in Guangdong Shenzhen and organized by the Shenzhen Credit Promotion Association. HKCCMA was one of the representatives in drafting "The Standard for Third-Party Credit Investigations".

Forum for Credit Service Operators

 

December 28, 2024 - HKCCMA Chairman Mr Bobby Rozario and Vice Chairman Mr Germany Heng attended a forum held on December 28, 2024, in Shenzhen. The event was initiated by Shenzhen Credit Promotion Association (Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Credit Development Alliance) to accelerate the growth of credit service institutions.  
Mr. Bobby Rozario, as a distinguished guest, engaged in roundtable discussions with industry peers on the mergers and acquisitions of credit institutions. This meeting deepened the connection between HKCCMA and mainland credit service institutions and laid a solid foundation for future collaborations.

The 2nd Greater Bay Area Credit Forum

 

December 30, 2024 Chairman, Mr. Bobby Rozario, joined the 2nd GD-HK-MO Greater Bay Area Credit Forum 2024 on December 6, 2024. The Guangdong Credit Association (GDCA) hosted the forum, which gathered over 300 esteemed guests. Prof. Zhang Zheng, Lecturer of Beijing University, served as moderator and invited a panel of experts to voice their opinions on the "Application of Artificial Intelligence on Credit Management". Mr Rozario, one of the panelists, presented his view and shared his perspectives on the future development of credit.

The Public Relations Committee organized two TGIF events for members and guests in the second and third quarters of 2024. TGIF has long been a tradition of the Association, serving as an informal networking session where members and guests can share knowledge and experiences. It has become one of the most popular events among the members besides the AGM.
