Every year the Association are planning various events, activities and tasks to be accomplished. Some of the tasks may not be able to complete in the same term. As a tradition, the newly selected Committee will follow through each unfinished tasks.
1) Establish an Education Program with HKUSPACE
The Association is proud to introduce a groundbreaking initiative to elevate industry standards—the establishment of a New Education Program for credit professionals together with HKUSPACE. This program will be offered in Hong Kong as well as in the Greater Bay Region through a streaming service.

2) Establish a New Certification Program in the Hong Kong and Greater Bay Region
As part of our commitment to fostering excellence in credit management, we are offering an education program with HKUSPACE and launching a certification pathway to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the evolving financial landscape.
Introducing the "Certified Credit Professional" (CCP) Designation
✅ Comprehensive 30-Hour Course – A structured program covering key areas in credit risk, collection strategies, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
✅ Examination Requirement – Participants must successfully complete the course and pass a certification exam to earn the Certified Credit Professional (CCP) designation.
✅ Professional Recognition – The CCP designation will serve as a mark of expertise, professionalism, and industry recognition in credit management.
✅ Continuing Professional Development (CPD) – To maintain their CCP status, certified professionals must fulfil ongoing CPD requirements, ensuring they stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
Passing the examination will automatically earn them the Ordinary Membership (MCCMA) of HKCCMA fee inclusive.
3) Establish a Greater Bay Region Chapter
The Executive Committee of the 2024-2025 term has approved establishing a Greater Bay Area Chapter, a strategic initiative to expand our presence and services across the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
Key Features of the Greater Bay Area Chapter:
✅ Education & Certification Programs – HKCCMA will extend its professional training, workshops, and certification programs to credit and collection professionals in the region.
✅ Regional Membership & Networking – The Chapter will absorb new individual, corporate, associate and student members from across the Greater Bay Area, fostering stronger industry connections and cross-border collaboration.
✅ Chapter Committee Chairs —A structured leadership team will be formed, with Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretariat and appointed Committee Chairs, overseeing key initiatives such as Membership, Education, Compliance, and Industry Standards.
4)Appointment of Honorary Chairman
The Executive Committee has voted in favor of appointing the position of Honorary Chairman to former Chairman(s) of the Association
The purpose of appointing an Honorary Chairman position is to recognize a former Chairman who has demonstrated distinguished leadership in our industry and has maintained a strong professional reputation with high ethical standards and integrity over the years.
Criteria for Appointment
✅ A Former Chairman of the Association for a tenure of at least one full-term
✅ Continue to be a member of the Association beyond his/her tenure consecutively of no less than 10 years
✅ Ability to provide strategic guidance and advisory support to the Executive Committee
✅ Unanimous endorsement by the Executive Council
Term, Renewal and Benefit
✅ The Honorary Chairman appointment is for a term of three (3) years.
✅ At the end of the term, the appointment will be subject to review and renewal by the Executive Council based on the individual's continued contributions and involvement in the Association.
✅ Granted Lifetime Honorary Membership of HKCCMA
